Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to PyDex by Fuller Exotics, including pydex.app, the PyDex mobile application, discussion services at d.pydex.app, and related features we operate (collectively, the “Services”).

It does not govern third-party websites, services, or transactions that you may reach through PyDex.

We collect information in the following categories:

• Account and profile information. Your name, email address, linked sign-in provider, profile image, handle, account role, subscription tier, and store or breeder profile details.
• Registry and marketplace content. Animal records, lineage, locality, morph, breeding, husbandry, ownership-transfer, listing, media, and related provenance information you submit.
• Discussion content. Communities you follow, posts, comments, votes, saves, reports, moderation activity, private messages, and uploaded media.
• Billing information. Subscription status and transaction identifiers received from our payment provider. PyDex does not receive your complete payment-card number.
• Device and usage information. IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring pages, requested pages, timestamps, diagnostics, and security events.
• Cookies and similar storage. Essential session, security, invitation, ownership-transfer, and referral-attribution data.

PyDex is designed as a registry, catalog, marketplace, and discussion community. Information you publish to public profiles, animal records, listings, catalog contributions, posts, and comments can be viewed and shared by others. Public records may also identify contributors or prior owners where provenance is part of the record.

Drafts, private records, and private messages are not intended to be public. Private messages are visible to their participants and may be accessed by authorized personnel when reasonably necessary for safety, abuse prevention, support, or legal compliance.

We use information to:

• provide, personalize, maintain, and improve the Services;
• authenticate accounts and enforce eligibility, access, and permission rules;
• operate registry, catalog, ownership, marketplace, billing, messaging, and discussion features;
• communicate about accounts, transactions, moderation, security, and service updates;
• detect fraud, spam, misuse, security incidents, and violations of our Terms; and
• comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

We share information with service providers that help us run PyDex, including authentication, cloud hosting, database, storage, content delivery, analytics, communications, and payment providers. They may process information only as needed to provide services to us and subject to their agreements and privacy practices.

We may also disclose information to authorized moderators and administrators; with your direction; to protect users, animals, PyDex, or others; when required by law; or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or transfer of the Services. We do not sell personal information for money.

When you choose to use the care assistant, PyDex sends your typed request or foreground microphone audio, relevant animal identities, and recent care context to OpenAI to interpret the request and generate a reply. Microphone capture starts only when you activate voice care and grant permission. Leaving the page or stopping voice care ends microphone capture.

PyDex does not persist raw assistant audio. Diagnostic text, proposed actions, and feedback are scheduled for deletion after seven days; submitting new feedback renews that diagnostic period. Saved husbandry records, their change history, and usage accounting are retained separately. Feedback helps us review errors and does not automatically retrain a model or alter your care records.

AI providers process data under their own service agreements and retention policies. You can use manual care actions without sending a request to the AI provider.

PyDex uses cookies and local storage that are necessary for sign-in, account security, preferences, invitations, transfers, and requested product features. Referral attribution may be retained for a limited period so an eligible referral can be credited. You can control cookies through your browser, but blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in and other features from working.

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services, maintain accurate registry and transaction history, protect the community, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary by the type and purpose of the data.

Account deletion may not remove information that must remain for public record integrity, ownership provenance, moderation, fraud prevention, or legal compliance. Where appropriate, we may remove identifying details while retaining a record or replace deleted discussion content with a tombstone so conversations remain understandable.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, loss, or misuse will never occur. Keep your account and device secure and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized activity.

You can update certain account, profile, registry, notification, and discussion settings in PyDex. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or information about how your personal information is used.

We may need to verify your identity before completing a request, and some exceptions may apply. You may appeal a denied request or contact your local data-protection authority where applicable.

PyDex is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, please contact us.

PyDex and its providers may process information in countries other than your own. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

We may update this policy as PyDex changes. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when required by law. Your continued use of the Services after an update is subject to the revised policy.
